In an effort to better separate
our website and photography we are introducing a new website, Grand Lake Paparazzi. (click here)We'll still be covering and posting the same events, but will be adding a personal touch to many of the venues we now
capture.
At Grand Lake Paparazzi - we shoot people...Imagine having your own personal photographer at your son
or daughter's big game...capturing their every move, focusing on a homerun hit, finishing the race or sacking the quarterback...Grand
Lake Paparazzi will attend the sporting event or social event of your choosing. (bridal showers, graduations, any special
event where you want quality photos taken). If you're having an award ceremony or speech we can cover that too. Shooting
area events is our specialty! Private events are also available and are password protected, so only those with the password

The
Chamber’s Public Relations Committee would like to send their thanks to Brenda Robinson and her family for
their hard work and dedication in fundraising and remodeling the Santa house. After much research, Brenda and her family
were able to restore the Santa house which was built in the early sixties to its original style. If that was not enough Brenda
also restrung and repainted the large wreaths hanging in the Mercer County Courthouse windows and made the wooden Christmas
soldiers and other cutouts that adorn the Courthouse lawn. Each year the Chamber solicits funds to cover the yearly expenses
of candy, wages and miscellaneous upkeep for the Santa house. Contributors for these yearly expenses are Celina American
Legion, The Peoples Bank Co., Celina VFW, CAPT, Citizens National Bank, Celina Moose Lodge, Women of the Moose, and Celina
Eagles Lodge.
On behalf of over 800 children who visit Santa each year in this house, we thank you.

We'd
like to thank Keith and Sheila Gudorf for inviting us to a "sneak preview" of another fantastic production by the
Celina High School students.
This is a fast moving, extremely fun play, with alot of twists and turns.
The actors are great and put a ton of energy into what has to be one of the best productions we've seen. A whimsical
reinvention of Shakespeare's tragic love story, complete with rhymed couplets, creative wordplay, and fantastical machines
-- similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with if he ever had his way with the script...

"Big Bob", the world's largest man-made bass,
underwent a makeover this year. The large fish float, which is a staple in the annual Celina Lake Festival, went through
some major overhauling since it's debut in 1965. The float was originally built by Robert "Red" Adams,
and was painted back then by Jack Griswold. This past Spring the family of Mike and Brenda Robinson and several other volunteers
took on the task of restoring the float. Three generations of the Jack Griswold family, Jack (the original painter),
Jeff Griswold, and Jared Griswold painted the fish, giving it a newfound luster. We'd like to thank Brenda Robinson
for the use of the photos, and congratulate everyone involved on a job well done! (editor's note: I didn't realize
the eyes on the fish light up!)
