The Coldwater Community Picnic was held on August 1st and 2nd at Memorial Park. The pre-picnic festivities
began Thursday, July 30th with sidewalk sales downtown and at the mall.The festivities continued with the tradition of Movie
Night for the family at the park. On Friday, July 31st the community gathered at the mall for a live band and fireworks. The
49th annual Community Picnic featured more entertainment and activities than ever before. New activities this year were more
kids rides from Wymer Amusements, an arcade zone, petting zoo, hot dog eating contest for both kids and adults, and kids straw
scramble to name a few. Musical entertainment was featured each day at 5pm. The favorite hit band Borrowed Time kicked off
Saturday's entertainment with the Red Ball Jets band as the nightcap for the evening. On Sunday, the Jordon Ross band
was the feature in the afternoon, with the local hit band Country Mile finishing off the evening with a bang.
